Three matches were played on Sunday, 23 March, in the 3rd week of Nigeria premier league.
Akwa United managed a comfortable win over Kaduna United with the score of 2-0. Defender Nnamso Edo opened the score with his third goal of the season before Emmanuel Enize sealed the deal to secure a precious win for the hosts.
Lobi Stars also defeated visitors Gombe United with the score of 2-0. Goalkeeper Terkaa Melai opened scoring from the penalty spot before John Paul added the second later.
Crown FC edged Dolphins FC beating them 2-1. Ifeanyi Egwim opened the score for the Dolphins but his celebration didn’t last as Okafor Onyekachi scored the equalizer and added the winning goal later for the newly promoted team.
