Osaze begs Keshi for last chance
Stoke striker Osaze Odemwingie is keeping his fingers crossed for a World Cup call as he attempts to put a difficult year behind him.
The 32-year-old endured a testing 2013 after finding himself on the periphery at former club West Brom following the collapse of a proposed deadline-day move to QPR before a brief and unsuccessful spell at Cardiff.
However, he appears to have revived his career since joining the Potters in January, and having repaired his relationship with Nigeria coach Stephen Keshi, with whom he had a very public fall-out in 2012, he has not given up hope of a summer trip to Brazil.

Odemwingie told the Stoke Sentinel: “I had a stressful 2013, now I just take it week to week.
”I have a son who will be born in the summer and I have another already making me really happy.
”It’s how I think now after last year, that things can always be worse. Today I already have more than I wanted three months ago.
”Everything else is a bonus, but every player would love to go the World Cup.
”If things seem right for me and, most importantly, I am made to feel like I could help the team, then why not? We will see.”
